We were able to meet only once in November due to “lockdown”. Despite this, there was plenty of activity with the various WhatsApp groups providing a great source of support and information.
It has been a real shame that our club nights have had to come to a temporary halt as the club has gone from strength to strength since we were formed in April 2019. Surprisingly, we have had lots of new members join since the initial COVID problems became apparent.
With races being cancelled, Mick organised a virtual 10k in the middle of November that attracted 22 runners. Tom and Tracey came away with the fastest times although a special mention must be made of Tony who posted a time of 53.51 in the M75 category.
We also had the Virtual 2 person Relay where we had 13 teams taking place. This was the first time we have had a relay and again it proved very successful.
